Suosikki, Alas, Surplus & Salaattipäivät

SUOSIKKI:
The “Tampere-indie super group” Suosikki has released their second studio album in January 2024. With the Sä oot meisää se kaunis album, the band takes a step away from punk and distorted guitars, which was introduced by the acclaimed debut album This will happen anyways, released in 2022. On the new album, space is given to, among other things, the expression of the new wave of the 1980s with electric drums and changes of key. The five-piece band includes singer-keyboardist-guitarist Jussi Kahola, known from Tryer and Frivolvol, bassist Samuli Pyykkönen, drummer Antti Hietala, and guitarists Sakari Taskinen and Lauri Kaski.
