Iconic disco queen Eini, currently enjoying the peak years of her music career, released her 16th studio album Mun vuosi (“My Year”) on March 21, 2025. The first single from the album, also titled Mun vuosi, hinted that this would truly be Eini’s year — and it was proven by her first-ever Emma Gala nomination, multiple radio chart hits, sold-out shows across Finland, participation in season 15 of Vain Elämää, and a performance in the interval act of the Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu final at a sold-out Nokia Arena in Tampere, reaching over 2.3 million TV viewers.

Eini released her debut single Yes sir, alkaa polttaa at just 17 years old. Nearly 50 years into a non-stop career, her momentum shows no signs of slowing down. She continues to evolve, driven by new music and fresh goals.

“I’m incredibly proud of my new album and truly believe it’s the best body of work in my career. The same top-tier songwriting team behind Pimeän jälkeen returned for this one, ensuring my strong artistic style shines through. Mun vuosi is a diverse album that captures the life of a strong woman — with all its joys, experiences, and growth. I also fulfilled a long-time dream of singing something written by Mariska, and the stunning track Kuninkaatkin itkee (‘Even Kings Cry’) made it onto the album,” Eini shares.

“The single Cocktail is going to be the explosive highlight of my live shows! It’s another irresistibly catchy hit born from the collaboration between Johannes Brotherus and Topi Latukka. Life is one big Cocktail!” Eini adds.

Live shows and the audience are deeply important to Eini, which is why she gives her all on stage.

“The interaction and shared experience with the crowd — that’s what it’s all about,” she says.

At the beginning of 2026, Eini will release more new music. Having spent her free time in the studio and touring actively, she promises some real bangers for the year ahead.
