Planetbic has expanded its essence!
The Globe workout and community performance Planetbic, which premiered in August 2023 at Puistokatu 4 in Helsinki’s Kaivopuisto, has grown into a project that merges science, planetary boundaries, and community art.
In Jyväskylä, in collaboration with the university’s Wisdom resource-wise unit, the project aims to question the current “normal,” strengthen the connection between body and mind – humans and other living beings – and promote active citizenship.
Collective planetary agency must become reality, even if many power holders try to slow progress.

WHAT IS PLANETBIC?
🌍 Planetbic is a community performance/Globe workout open to everyone with their own, borrowed, or invisible imaginary ball!
No prior skills needed – you can bic as intensely or as gently as you like!

🪩 On Dec 10 at Ilokivi, there will be a few extra balls available if you don’t bring your own or prefer to use an imaginary one.
